I love travel and I, especially, love DRESSING for said travel. In result, I always do my research and it really paid off when determining what to wear in Vegas in February!
Las Vegas in February is cool in the mornings and evenings – you WILL need a light jacket. And quite warm in the peak of the afternoon. I personally didn’t find it warm enough to wear shorts but you might be able to get away with shorts. As long as you wear them with a sweater/long sleeve and a light jacket.
I personally rotated between these three combos: sweater + jeans, long sleeve bodysuit + cargo pants and a cozy sweater + midi skirt.
Now, my husband and I do A LOT of walking in Vegas so I skip heels altogether! The last thing I want is to be uncomfortable or unable to keep up so I brought along my trusted white sneakers (because they truly do go with everything). Ben and I always make sure to break in our shoes beforehand but I always pack band aid’s just in case.
*If you are prone to blisters, I would highly recommend you do the same – I did end up needing them.
One of the best jackets in my opinion to take along is a over sized jean jacket! You can wear it with leggings at the airport and over skirts, dresses and cargo pants. If you are wearing jeans, I would recommend packing a chunky knit cardigan. I don’t particularly love the look of a Canadian tuxedo so a cozy cardigan is a great alternative to denim on denim.
*I would probably style jeans with a white body suit, cream chunky knit cardigan (acts as a jacket), white sneakers and sunglasses. You could even add a baseball cap if you wanted for an extra cute factor.
I wore this long floral skirt + sweater combo on our last day in Vegas and it was absolutely perfect. The skirt kept me cool enough during the afternoon. And my sweater kept me cozy in the morning and evening chill. I also think it would look cute with a white tee (tucked in) and a jean jacket! Other top options are a black bodysuit or button up v-neck cardigan.
