Palazzo Pant

Boy, do I EVER have a lot of thoughts on these Palazzo Pants. I have been looking forward to featuring these pants on the blog from the moment I saw them! Taking cue from Dynamite, I styled them with a sleeveless white blouse (I adore the ruffles on the shoulder) and my white pumps. My cross body was the finishing touch and I love how the grey compliments the color of the palazzo. *Isn’t the color enchanting? I am not even sure what to call it but I know that I love it! Please do share if anyone knows.

Thought 1:

When these pants came in, I was disappointed that they were a very large fit. Way too big on me. But I could still see the potential and knew that with the right fit, my vision could still come to life. Thankfully, my seamstress was able to fit them perfectly to me! I am a huge fan but I do want anyone ordering them to know that they fit large and that I had them tailored. I would recommend sizing down if you can or if you are the smallest size to expect the extra cost of fitting.

Thought 2:

I was very curious to see my husband’s reaction! He had mentioned previously to me that he hates palazzo pants but I had a feeling for some reason he would like these. And I was right! He likes that this style has slits and found the fit to be very flattering. I do agree that some palazzo pants are not appealing but after my experience with this pair I believe the “right” palazzo pant will be the pant you’ve always been looking for! They are SO much fun to wear and really made me feel like a woman! If that makes any sense 🙂

Thought 3:

With the slits you may wonder if these pants show anything that you don’t want shown. While the slits do go high, you can sit any way you wish and I promise you will be covered. It will feel like you are wearing shorts when you sit down because the slit will fall open. But they are made in such a way that you won’t be too exposed. And when you are walking the same coverage is in place.

Thought 4:

Another thing I do want to mention is that I chose not to have the pants hemmed (I felt they would lose the effect “I” wanted if shortened) so they do look silly without a heel on. This will make heels a requirement* but since I love heels so much I don’t see this being much of an issue for me personally.

With All That Said

I want you to know that I strive to be 100% honest with you. Anything that has been posted on my blog has been carefully chosen by me which requires 100% satisfaction on my part. But I will try to post anything I can think of that may be a concern! Also, remember, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I will do my best to help in any way I can.

Thanks for joining me in fashion fun, XO, Emmarie.

You really are the best!
