I’ll be the first to admit that there aren’t as many photos of our stay at the Marriott (which was my favorite hotel of the two) because I was enjoying myself sooo much! But, one of the joys of every trip is I that I am always learning about this world of blogging. Note to self: take more pictures of our hotels next trip ♥

I wanted to start with our stay at the Marriott because as I mentioned it was my favorite and the experience I had was quite magical! The size in itself was impressive and the amenities it offered blew me away. One thing Ben and I both noted is that the Marriott specializes in catering to the business world.

It makes sense that the conference Ben attended was hosted at this hotel because they offer the most comfortable and luxurious stay. In fact, there is no need to leave because you are so well taken care of.

There are 5 restaurants to try, including Italian, a steakhouse, and sports bar. Among the restaurants, you can also find a Starbucks (I jumped for joy when I saw it) and Central Pantry, open all hours, where you can grab anything you will need like freshly prepared baking, salads, flat bread, frozen yogurt, soda, coffee, etc.

Ben and I tried 4 of the 5 restaurants and were pleased with the variety of food that was offered as well as how delicious it all truly was.

With two pools at the resort, pool time is a must. The main pool is the largest with two hot tubs, a splash park for the kids, and three water slides. There is also a spa pool where you can find some peace and quiet as well as a private hot tub.

Surprisingly, this is the first holiday that Ben and I have enjoyed significant time at the pool. At home, we are hot tub “only” kind of people but in Florida taking a dip in the pool was so refreshing!

I love to walk and was over joyed to find the most beautiful walking trails. While Ben was at the conference, I would grab a Starbucks and just walk, enjoying the gorgeous views that are EVERYWHERE in this resort. I have seriously never felt more relaxed, it was so calm and peaceful. In the picture below is the area, that I loved to sit and just “take it all in”!!!

CARIBE ROYALE

It may sound kind of silly but I think one of my favorite things about the Caribe Royale was that it was pink. Made me smile for some reason 🙂

It was a much smaller hotel than the Marriott but it had a beautiful pool and a great pool side restaurant. Ben and I enjoyed appies and virgin pina colada’s. I also loved the pop machine where I could enjoy every kind of diet pop with any flavor shot I desired! I especially loved diet sprite with a shot of strawberry. Diet pepsi was also great with cherry or vanilla flavoring. I am always on the hunt for a delicious low calorie beverage so this was a great treat!

Since most of our days while staying here were spent at Disney we found the Caribe Royale to be the perfect place to spend our mornings and evenings with its relaxed atmosphere.
