Just a casual glimpse into a “day in the life” of Benjamin and I. Ben had seen a truck advertised in Fort Qu’Appelle that had caught his interest so we decided to spend our Sunday afternoon driving and check it out. There’s nothing Ben loves more than vehicle shopping even if a purchase isn’t made.
One of our favorite things to do together is just get in the vehicle and cruise. It’s when we have our best chats and can spend quality time.
I love including Ben in my blog and am definitely interested to see if that is something you would like to see more of. Benjamin is such a natural in front of the camera. I often joke (and am serious all at the same time) that he should be fashion blogging. I know that I am bias but I just think he’s sooo dreamy and has the most effortless style. He loves when I dress him but he has always been such a great dresser. All I do is tweak. We have had a lot of fun over the years figuring out what Ben looks best in. For example the slim fit pant was life changing, hehe. Ben has even admitted that once I introduced the fit, it ruined the rest of his pants for him. Sorry but not sorry, hehe. But I definitely have learned a lot from Benjamin as well. He is the master at getting up, dressing up and showing up every day. I am still working on looking as polished as he does day in and day out. He is #goals ♥
Our style is very casual for a Sunday. Usually we are a bit more dressed up but we knew we would be hitting the road right after church. I live in jean skirts throughout the summer and I loved pairing this cute crop top with it. It has a relaxed fit which made it very comfortable. Ben went with a tan slim fit pant and a denim dress shirt. He relaxed the look even more with rolled sleeves. I did want to mention that this particular denim skirt is the best fit I have found. I am wearing XS for reference and linked the exact skirt below. All of the items that I am wearing and linked below are exact, Ben’s are similar.

Thanks for joining us in fashion fun, XO, Ben and Emmarie. P.S. He did buy the truck (a 98 GMC for work).
