Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday, next to Christmas. A day to be truly grateful for every past, present and future blessing. It’s a wonderful reminder to practice gratitude in our daily lives. And it’s a great excuse to have turkey! Ben and I partook in a delicious meal yesterday with pie and all! We over indulged, relaxed, and visited with loved ones. It was a truly blessed day!
In typical Thanksgiving style, I am going to share a few of the things I am thankful for right here, right now. I hope you’ll take some time today to reflect on the blessings in your life as well ♥
Faith. My faith in Jesus Christ has given me hope in a very lost world. With the devastation that our world has seen (my prayers for Las Vegas), hope is really all we have! And my hope is in Jesus.
My husband. He’s my rock. He is my safe haven and I love him more than I love anyone. His joy is my joy and his pain is my pain. He is the best gift God has ever given me.
My family. Holidays make me sentimental! They stir up memories and childhood comes flashing back. I adore the family God gave me. I wouldn’t have wanted to grow up with anyone else. My only regret? Not being more open and more transparent with them. I am going to work on that.
My inlaws (who are my family). Some people marry into a family that can feel like more of a nightmare than a blessing. I married into a family that has accepted me exactly as I am, the good and the bad. They are kind, loving and as equal in my eyes as the family I was born into.
My health. God has given me health that I have definitely taken forgranted. I am thankful for His continuous blessing and want to respect that blessing in every way I can.
My home. My home is part of the safe haven my husband has given me. It’s my place to unwind after a hard day. It’s where my creativity can flow! And where I can truly be “me”.
My Chair Rental. I work as a hairstylist in a beautiful shop with beautiful clients. I am grateful for the freedom of having my own business and the relationships I have been able to build in this lovely small town in Saskatchewan that I call home!
Last but not least, I am grateful for YOU! Following along on this journey that is #ladystylesfashion means more than you could possibly know. Truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
P.S Finally pulled my over the knee boots out of the closet! YAY!
