Bike shorts. A tricky trend if I am being totally honest. SO, when From Rachel reached out to me to try their bike shorts (one of their latest arrivals), I went straight to work combing the web for looks that I could picture myself in. I was a little stumped on how I would feel comfortable wearing them (as I think most women are) but was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t take me long to figure out what worked for me! You see my dilemma with bike shorts has always been, I love the look – so cute right – but how do I say it…they aren’t the most forgiving. Is that the right word, hehe?
Anyway, I found I was drawn to over sized sweatshirts because to me, it balances the look, tight on the bottom, relaxed on top. I do that with leggings too! The first photo that inspired me was this look worn by Hailey Bieber. I loved how she paired a relaxed crew neck with cool shades and sneakers. And don’t forget her scrunchie in her hair, so cute!
I also found myself drawn to relaxed tees. I could see myself knotting or tucking them depending on what I am feeling day to day. It keeps the look fresh plus it’s such a fun way to switch up how you wear your tee! I also found myself liking the addition of chunky gold hoops, aviators and crossbody/shoulder bags.
Now, the majority of the “bike short” looks that I loved were worn with sneakers – all types but of course you know how much I love these, hehe. You may have also noticed (or are about to) the silver Birkenstock sandals – I am officially swooning!
So to recap, I like to wear bike shorts with a relaxed top and a over-sized sweatshirt or over sized jacket. And, one of the reason’s I was so excited to review From Rachel bike shorts specifically is because I have worked with the company before (check out this post) and I have had great experience with their quality and fit. And it all rang true with these shorts! Plus they are a great length with the perfect amount of stretch, xoxo.
*A huge thank you to From Rachel for sponsoring this post.
