Hi Friends, Abercrombie is having a sale on denim right now, some are even half off! So, I very excitedly threw together a denim guide for you (the first two are the only ones that aren’t on sale).
I am sharing the denim FITS that you need in your life, ahh, and am going to break it all down. Including how to style them, etc. I know it can be overwhelming even knowing where to start, this will be a great guide for you to follow. Hope it helps!
Starting with the classics, we will work our way to what is trending.
Hello high rise skinny in dark wash. This is an incredibly sophisticated denim and pairs well with rich colors. The perfect jean to wear under your over-the-knee boots or tucked into your ankle booties. Try these jeans with a silk camisole and open cardigan. I have personally found that I wear this style of denim the most in Fall and Winter.
Oh the good ol’ mom jean. This fit has actually become one of my favorites. I love wearing this style with loose, cropped sweaters and chunky boots like my Steve Madden Betty’s. I would suggest a pair in a washed black denim and a light blue.
Another classic I would recommend is a very black skinny. Just like I recommend a dark wash skinny, you’ll be amazed at how easy they are to style. You can tuck them into ANY boot.
What I love about faded black is the pop of texture that it brings. You can wear an all-black outfit but if you have different textures going on it immediately makes the look more interesting. One of my go-to’s!
Straight jeans are coming back but in a modern way. I still love a ripped denim -gives off a more casual vibe! This new fit of straight jeans is an updated and stylish way to wear flares (makes me think of my high school days, hehe). If you follow the link and see the fit on the model, you will see what I mean.
So, these also have a straight leg but are ankle length and are more curve accentuating. I think they would be great with a high ankle boot!
Hope this Abercrombie denim guide helped. To me it’s all about building a wardrobe of pieces that you are always reaching for. I recommend starting with the classics and working from there, xoxo.
Check out these cozy picks next (to pair with your new denim, hehe)!
